I saw some terrible terrible videos indicating mean ways of cooking pasta.
Dangerous content! DON’T TRY THIS AT HOME! I can’t think about it! It’s a way of abusing pasta for an Italian. If you try to cook it without boiling water, it will have an awful consistence and color. WTF!!!! You’ll throw everything away if you do like this!

If somebody tells you to prepare pasta without boiling water, he’s telling you bulls@@@s! So, run away as fast as you can! HMaybe this person hates you and wants you to eat something that’s disgusting.
I don’t understand what makes people believe that this way of cooking pasta is acceptable.
If you have any doubt about the cooking technique, here is a link to the post where I properly explain how to prepare an amazing pasta al dente:

I won’t comment further on this topic. It’s too painful knowing that somebody uses cold water! I’ll go into a corner and I’ll cry on my own!
Note: Obviously my posts haven’t any intention of offending anybody or of criticizing the goodness, quality and tastes of any dish or recipe. What I write is just a personal consideration concerning the adherence of recipes to the Italian ones, considering local habits, usages and traditions. The mood of the blog can be ironic and sometimes sarcastic, but with no aim of disappointing anybody. If somebody feels offended or struck by my words, please don’t. Moreover feel free to write me and explain your point of view (public channels like this blog are best welcome). It would be a pleasure for me. My intention is a constructive and sincere exchange of opinions.
Your common sense should be accepted and normal for all.|
